Farolane is built privacy-first. The short version: your product data never leaves your browser.
Prices, costs, shipping figures, categories, profit goals and any CSV you upload are processed entirely on your device, in your browser. We do not receive, transmit, or store this information on any server.
When you save a scenario in the Goal Planner, it is written to your browser's localStorage on your own device. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored the same way. Clearing your browser storage removes them. Nothing is uploaded.
The free tier has no sign-up, no login, and no email collection. We cannot identify you.
We aim to keep the site lightweight. If we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic, it will not track you across sites or collect personally identifiable information. We do not sell data, and Anthropic-style advertising has no place here — there are no ad trackers embedded in the tools.
Fee-schedule and source links point to third-party sites (marketplaces, carriers, tax authorities). Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review them.
Farolane is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
